NetRange extends partnership with KTC to customise its Smart TV App Portal
Agreement empowers KTC customers in local and international markets to customise their Smart TV app portal without the need for OTA upgrade
Hamburg, Germany, September 8, 2021 - NetRange MMH GmbH (‘NetRange’), the global provider of white-labelled, turnkey Smart TV and OTT ecosystems, today announced it has renewed its partnership with KTC to provide KTC customers with a customisable Smart TV app portal offering for individual markets through the NetRange Smart TV App Store.
Built on NetRange’s HTML5 portal, KTC’s app store now offers a customised service without the need for additional support from chipset providers or ODM firmware. The NetRange HTML5 cloud-based OTT Smart TV Portal supports automatic software upgrades from the NetRange server-side, meaning no OTA upgrade is required from the mainboard. NetRange’s innovative technology enables KTC and its customers to create significant efficiencies without impacting the quality of service.
